Registration subsidies

We have a limited number of subsidised places available. There is a limit of two people per organisation.

These will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

All subsidised registrations approved prior to 30 June must be booked and paid for by that date. All subsidised registrations approved after 30 June must be made by COB Tuesday 1 September, 2026 and paid by this date.

The subsidised registration fee, which covers the full conference is NZ$590. Please note that this does not include travel costs.

Groups covered under that rate include:

  • NGOs,

  • Iwi representatives,

  • full time students,

  • new graduates/those new to the industry (under 2 years in the industry),

  • startups (under 2 years)

  • non-corporate individuals.

Places will be allocated after consideration of a written application to the conference organisers. Decisions are final and at the organisers’ discretion.

The following criteria will be considered when making the decision:

  • Committee or executive membership of a relevant NGO or iwi organisation,

  • brief outline of background/education as it relates to an application under ‘full time students/new graduates’ entitlement,

  • geographical representation,

  • clear inability to pay the full registration fee,

  • whether the subsidised delegate represents a view that would not otherwise be represented.

Places will be allocated after consideration of a written application to the conference organisers. Decisions are final and at the organisers’ discretion.

Subsidised registration scholarships

Te Taiao participation fund

A new initiative has been launched to support wider participation at the 2026 Climate Change & Business Conference.

The Te Taiao Participation Fund is inviting expressions of interest and nominations from whānau, hapū and iwi members whose work, responsibilities or interests connect with climate, te taiao, whenua or community resilience.

CCBC brings together people and organisations working on Aotearoa New Zealand’s climate response across business, policy, investment, iwi, community and civil society. This initiative recognises that the strength of the conversation is shaped by the perspectives in the room, including those grounded in te taiao, kaitiakitanga, whenua and intergenerational responsibility.

The fund complements CCBC’s existing subsidised registration pathways by providing funded conference places and reasonable travel and accommodation support to help remove barriers to participation.

Expressions of interest and nominations are now open for funded places. Simply complete the subsidised registration application form, selecting the 'Iwi representative' registration group and answer the travel and accommodation questions.

The Te Taiao Participation Fund was initiated and is funded by Lever Room, and has been developed alongside the Climate Change & Business Conference project partners: the Environmental Defence Society, the Sustainable Business Council and the Climate Leaders Coalition.
