Applications for the Next Generation scholarships are now open!

Are you 18-30 years old with a passion for business and climate action?

The Next Generation scholarship allows seven aspiring climate leaders to attend the 2026 Climate Change & Business Conference: Building Momentum. Driving Change.

This is your chance to hear from Aotearoa New Zealand’s climate leaders, join critical conversations and gain insights to shape your impact in business. Together, we will build momentum for climate action as New Zealand approaches 2030, exploring how businesses can cut emissions, adapt to climate impacts and thrive in the global transition.

Key dates


Applications open: Monday 1 June 2026

Deadline to apply: 11:59pm Monday 13 July 2026

Applicants notified by: 11:59pm Monday 20 July 2026

The decision of the organisers is final. We will not enter into any correspondence.

The scholarship is not transferrable to another person and cannot be converted to cash.

If you are unable to attend the conference, you must advise us as soon as possible.

Travel and accommodation arrangements and costs are not included in the scholarship and will be the sole responsibility of the recipient(s).

Questions on the application form:

1. How does your current study, work or professional journey connect with climate action and the role of business? What are your aspirations? 2. What unique perspective or skills will you bring to the 2026 Climate Change and Business Conference? And what do you hope to take away from the experience? 3. Why is this scholarship important for you? How will it help you attend and make the most of this opportunity? 4. What in your opinion is the role of businesses in addressing climate change? Please keep your answers to 150 words for each question. We are looking for authentic responses that make your point of view stand out.
